I’ve been photographing my children for 8 years, and without it being planned this became one of my main projects, one of my most beautiful ones.
I try to go beyond the singular, the individual shown in the picture, to try and reach some universal meaning which will echo in each viewer of their own past experience as a child.
A this turning point in their development, where they might be turning their back on childhood, and heading towards the first stages of adolescence.
